American Voices Musical

As you can tell by my lack of blogging our school year has been quite busy!
Piano, soccer, Oral Reports, Poetry Night, Science Fair, AWANA, Easter and the list goes on.
We are very proud of both girls, both excelling in what they love most. Hope on the piano and Emmi on the Soccer field! Both learning to hide God's Word in their hearts, both doing GREAT in school and learning to be you ladies!
Their 1920's Musical was fun and a big hit, we had a Flapper Girl and a Newspaper Delivery Girl!
There is great joy in watching them grow, however with the end of each school year I deny its over! It can't go by so fast, they can't be another year older...but tis true! They are. That's God's plan, that they grow into adults that Love Him and take His name to the Nations! I pray that for them!
I'll update more as the school year closes, I'll do my best to share pictures from January to May.....you can see where my time has gone!!!
Love being their Mommy!

Merry Belated Christmas & Happy New Year

Life gets so busy with family, little ones, work, full time Ministry etc!
Please forgive me for the lack of writing.
Our Christmas time celebrations were fun and full of purpose.
You'll see in the pictures below the girls were given memory books of our trip to Disney last year, words from them were "this is the best present ever!"
I agreed, the memories we make are forever etched in my heart. The time spent was totally worth it and our girls valued the time as we did.

Both girls love art so they were given books to color, markers and craft items for snow days!

One of our favorite holiday traditions is to begin December by visiting a local attraction called "A Walk to Bethlehem", its a town of Bethlehem beginning with the Birth of our Savior and ends with Jesus meeting the Disciples after his death. It truly points our focus to Christ and gets us excited to celebrate Christmas. The girls ask for it and can't wait to share in its joy each season.
The rest of the month is filled with celebrations, giving, loving on one another, making gifts and taking every opportunity to see Christmas lights. Something about it makes my girls eyes light up!

Then there was ICE in our Nations Capitol! A land this Mommy loves and prays for!
We went to the largest ice rink, decorated for Christmas, designed by the Chinese and they even incorporated a Manger Scene! Smart, I know!
A fun day, spent with special friends and those we love!

We pray you had a very Merry Christmas!
A special gift was given to "Heartbeats" in honor of our Birth Mothers and their selfless gift that is forever in our hearts!
Thank you!
May your 2016 be a blessing to others!!!!

So I see .....

My blog posts have "Fall'n" behind......SORRY
Second grade and Kindergarten are in full swing! Our girls are six and seven and as you can see both are growing strong and beautiful!!!

Both are losing teeth, is this really happening? Cute as it may be, it's another sign that our children don't stay little long. Conversations are more mature, questions on Salvation are deeper, clothes have to be a little more "in", they love one another but have their days of bossiness.
They love when we kiss and dance around the house, they love lip gloss and high heels, they love date nights with daddy and coloring with Mommy(I think its because coloring makes for GOOD talk time)!
These are the days I'm going to want more of and wish they would never end, this stage has to be a favorite. As they grow they communicate well BUT they still love to be rocked, read to, and tucked in!!!

So, we get the question often and we have two little girls praying for not one but two of these...any guesses??

Daddy would love these in our home and Mommy's heart wants one too!
Join us as we pray and ask the Lord if there is a little boy (or two) that He would like to add tour family!

Fall Festival 2015

"Mommy, lets find another long line so you can share Jesus again!"
They're listening and absorbing every detail! I was so proud of them to play with another child at our Family Fall Festival, during that time that child's mom ask me, "so what do you believe?"
What an open door and my girls were there to witness me sharing Christ with a sweet lady in our Community .

She loves the water and her daddy King Triton....guess who!!!!

She was thankful her prince charming found her foot to fit the glass slipper!!!!

This year our girls served an hour at the Family Fall Festival.
E said she now wants to do that every year!
Proud momma here!

They're never too young to lead and be an example of servanthood!

H truly has a servants heart and loves to serve rather than speak at times!

E says...
"i love saying great job get'cha some candy!"

Our sweet friends!!!!

Happy 6th Birthday E....you are a LIVELY 6 year old!!!!

"6"
We did a twenty day countdown, this girl truly believes each day was made for her! She's excited about life, her family, making friends and having fun!
She woke up to her made to order breakfast, presents and a little love!
She's lost her two bottom teeth and the top ones are loose. She's 52.4 lbs and can out run us any day. She's bouncy and loud, she's happy and loves a party, she's strong willed and able to stand up for herself, she's Pretty and prefers that over being CUTE! She keeps us laughing and reminds to enjoy life and don't blink...they grow up too fast.
Normally we do family adventures, not parties. However, we allowed parties this year and she chose the soccor field with inflatables and friends.

Her features are BEAUTIFUL!

H made these for all their friends to enjoy at school on E's Birthday!

Dinner was as Ledo's for pizza, face "arm" painting pizza with friends!

This child wanted a Redskins party.....THATS MY GIRL!!!!!

I do believe every child we invited show up and E LOVED IT!!!!

Second Grade & Kindergarten

It's all in the preparation.....the dress, the hair, the shoes, the book bag, the colorful pencils, the lunch bag and water bottle....phew....getting to school on Day 1 is TIRING!!!
Emmi loves an Elsa braid and this year Hope wanted a headband. Both love dresses and tennis-shoes! Emmi was especially excited as she has dreamed and talked of this day with she would be at "Hopey's school"....thats her endearing name for HVN and HVN allows no other to call her that name!
I pray it's a year of learning to read better, I pray that the numbers flow but more importantly, I tell our girls  to "Love Jesus and Be Helpful!" We've talked many days about what that looks like in word, deed and in our hearts!! Jesus protect them, guide them and give them friends that love Jesus!

Summer Days are Long but.....

The season seems so short....
I love each day with our girls! As a working mom Im thankful my job as  RE Agent allows me to make my schedule! It gave me days to work and a many days with our girls each week.
The girls swam year round last year to get good at their swimming skills, I just know they've grown scales. They both love the water and are good swimmers. Next year I hope to say they are great swimmers!
We served long side Daddy this summer on the "Collide" mission trip. We visited our Nations Capital to share Christ and serve a Church Planting friend. It was a great eye opener for H&E, the "WHY"S" are endless nowadays, however it makes them wise, tender and motivated to serve when we share why we do what we do.
Pray for their tender hearts as the Lord is drawing them to Himself. They pray and ask for prayer (they BELIEVE Jesus is who He says He is). Pray for them to realize their need of Jesus (they know they sin, they also know they need Jesus forgiveness for salvation).Pray that the Lord continues to reveal Himself to them (when they break out in a Praise song randomly, it encourages my heart that the Spirit is working).
Enjoy the shots below of our fun filled summer....we are treasuring the time!!!!!
