Saturday morning HVN and I were vegg'n as we call it, so I let her watch an episode of Caillou...she chose the Christmas one. Well, I watched it with her and they mentioned the jewish holiday, santa clause and a couple others but in no way did they mention Jesus' birth. I shared with HVN that I wasnt happy with this episode as in our home we celebrate Jesus Birthday on Christmas Day and why and how imporant He is to us and our faith...then I went on to mop the floors.
When I came back in the den HVN had put her manger scene figuers of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus around her dollhouse picnic table. Notice who has the cupcakes...when I ask her what she was doing...she said "Jesus' Birthday Party".....
Thank you Lord that she listened and understood in her way that it was important to celebrate Jesus too!!!!
I was a teary momma at that point!!!!
She's cute, sweet & Fancy as can be. There was only one way to Celebrate with a Fancy Princess Party!!
Happy 3rd Birthday Princess HVN! You are an extreme joy to have in our lives. We love you and constantly thank God for the day you came into our lives and the life He's given us together. You're smile, wit, heart keep us laughing and full of joy!!!!

One happy little girl had her daddy at home and was wide open for the Fireworks show! She loved it this year, years past it was too loud for her. This year she wanted to go see them each night of the weekend.
This was the most beautiful day, no humidity, water was cool but warm enough to enjoy and HVN went tubing for the every 1st time. Daddy pulled she and mommy with the jet ski and we went very "slowly" as HVN would say!!!! I love the 2nd picture as she's telling daddy all about it, very excitedly!
HVN loves her G-pa....her new name for him (aka my dad). We enjoyed crabs on the porch and the girls played hard...running through the sprinkler, eating popscicles and laughing....so many joys of summer!
