"G" Week

To me this ws "Good Grief" week...Rick hurt his back and HVN had something viral. By today, I was so ready to get out of the house for some fresh air. The rain fell yesterday and helped to wash away some of the pollen so it was was fresh and cool today. I love weather like that. So we were able to go feed the goats, find Giant trees and rocks and enjoy some much needed family time!
I look at these pictures and I can't believe how tall HVN is getting. She's weighing about 31 pounds and I think she's right at 37 inches or so. She's done great with potty training so her 2T pants fit great without a diaper but she wears a 3T top since she's so long.
Her new thing right now...she's all about "marrying" daddy. She thinks she got a princess dress in her basket so she could marry daddy. If she gets 1/2 the man her daddy is she'll be doing really well!She picks up our wedding picture everyday and "aws" over my white Princess dress....she loves the fairy tale!

He Arose He Arose Halelujah Christ Arose

Thats the chorus I taught HVN this week...we took a break from Home Preschool to learn the real meaning of Easter. She loves music and learns well that way so now when I ask her why we celebrate Easter...she sings this chorus! We read lots of books, however I read her various scriptures and explained what Christ did for us. I know she's young but the habit of sharing with her is important to us.
It was a breautiful day, hot, but beautiful. HVN is very much a snuggler, so after our morning snuggles she went on a hunt for her Easter basket. It was filled with a princess dress to match her princess shoes from PaPa & GG, an ABC puzzle, the Charlottes Webb dvd and the Hungry Hungry Hippo game...she loves games that make alot of noise. She was invited to three egg hunts this past week where she received lots of chocolate...which meant I didnt have to buy any.
Today our verse for HVN was in reference to having a Servants heart, we pray she develops a heart that willingly serves and works hard unto the Lord...please pray with us!

"F" Week

During "F" week we concentrated on flowers, fun with Daddy's birthday, frogs, Five Loaves & 3 Fish story, and Farm animals...we had so much fun. We happen to have a tree cut down this week so we practiced "falling" like a tree anywhere we could. HVN's imagination is huge and she loves to try new things...especially if it invloves climbing and laughing!

"E" Week

We've been visting a VERY special little princess...named baby "Emily". I thought she fit well into our "E" week along with peeling eggs, coloring elephants, learning shapes and writing our name. HVN is loving preschool at home and growing faster than we prefer. Her new favorite song is "I like to EAT apples and bananas"!

Favorites from "D" Week

"Daddy"

During "D" week I captured a picture of HVN and one of her favorite people...her Daddy! If she wakes up and he's not there she says, "where my Daddy go?" If she can't find him at church...she has to look until she does. She eagerly awaits his return home in the evenings and he's one of her favorite playmates. He reads to her, wrestles her, loves on her, snuggles her, plays hide and go seek anytime she wants and shares his ice cream with her. Most importantly he shares Jesus with her, prays a couple times a day with her and points her to Christ. She is so very fortunant to have him as her Daddy.
