DC for Uncle Bryan's Birthday

The sun didn't shine on us this day as it was suppose to....but I always love DC. I love the history, the sites to see, I love the partially bloomed flowers, I love the monuments and all the walking.
It's just a fun place to be...if you know where you are going.
More than DC....I love my family. Being with them and my brother's family made me forget about the clouds!

Sweet Sounds

After being with us for 2 months...Emmi said her first full sentence today on her own..."Help me please Mommy!"
I was so excited!!!
While at home, I say sentences to her and she repeats them. However, this one was out of the blue and on her own.
She tries so hard to repeat everything HVN says but I normally can only get the most important word....such as if HVN says, "May I have a cookie please?" Emmi says "Cookie Peas."
We are on our way to good communication and for that we are Grateful!
