My sweet Indian all decked out for the Family Fall Festival. She and her friend Hunter, who was the Cowboy had so much fun! She was a blond and very fair Indian but definently cute!! She and Hunter enjoyed watching everyone at the mall for our church festival. As long as we kept feeding them chicken, fruit and animal crackers they were good for almost two hours. I think we moms had more fun putting their outfits and stage coach together! Serving our children...another great blessing!
She keeps us laughing and on our toes. She is one busy busy little lady. You can see it on her face, her mind never stops thinking, her hands never stop reaching (and thats alot with her heigth) and she is full speed. She loves people, laughing, hide and go seek, playing in the park and being outside. Her favorite foods are cheese, pineapple, chocolate milk and orange juice, yogurt, pizza, chicken and any fruit you put in front of her. She is a great eater and sleeper.
There's just so much to see, touch, eat and smell! She's at that stage where she thinks nothing is off limits so we stay by her side and let her know whats good and whats not so good...especially to eat.
I guess cause its somewhat outside, HVN loves to play on our side porch. It's screened in and she can watch Riley, the squirrels, leaves fall'n etc. She'll point to the trees and say, "trees momma"...it sounds more like "threes momma", but I know what she's saying. Day by day she's such a blessing and God knew exactly when to send her.
Hope and I are here spending time with my BFF from college and her daughter Myah. The girls played together wonderfully. I love both pics but the one below with HVN posing is my favorite and its so her!!!! SWEETNESS!!!!!!!
Myah is the daughter of one of my BFF's from College, Mealnie. Mel and Clay live in Washington State and were in VA for a visit. Myah was so sweet to welcome Hope over to play and love on her.
I snapped this last week when I noticed HVN deep in thought. She was enjoying the outside and I so wondered what she was thinking. I know what I was thinking...that's the perfect pumpkin for us and it's a joy to watch her grow.
Here HVN is cheering for the pig races, although she didn't quite understand she was following the crowd in excitement. The other shot is her on the kiddy zip line...she really enjoyed that ride!
This child loves the outdoors, she had so much freedom to run and play today. It is so sweet to watch her grow and explore the world around her. I'm so very thankful for her health and all her abilities God has blessed her with no matter how much they ware me out. Her favorite part today was being with Erin and Emma. Other than that she loved the animals, the funnel cake, the play yard with tractors even they weren't princess pumpkins.
Yesterday on our walk HVN wanted to sit and explore the sticks, rocks, acorns and whatever else she could touch. Our walk around the driveway took approximaely 45 minutes, she even wanted to sit in the dirt. So I had to let her!
YUK, is what I was hoping she would say. She didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or feed it a Riley cookie!!! Her puzzled look with raised eyebrows was hilarious! Congratulations daddy on your 8 pointer during the first few hours of bow season!
The only part I don't like about HVN walking are the bruises on her knees. She is one tough trooper that gets right back up when she falls down. I see her great desire for independence and speed. She is still loads of fun and loads of work!!! But its OK, its the kind of work that I expect as a parent. Now that she is walking I have to really watch her especially near the steps and when the house doors are open. She's quick and not afriad to try something new, it doesn't matter to her whats on the other side of the door...she's gonna go anyway. In these pictures Rick had a hard time believing that I let her play on the ground, hello Ive only gone to camp for 15 years and hung out with him and others that love the outdoors...Im not gonna shelter her!! Well, just a little!!!
