Three weeks before Easter the girls were telling GG how they had four camps they wanted to attend in the summertime. There is a part of parenting that makes one want to give it all to their kids BUT we won't, there is a work ethic that runs deep in our family and will be past down to the girls. GG replied with, "say no more! We will make chocolate covered peanut butter eggs, advertise, take orders and see what we make!" So daily after school the girls would go downstairs, make a batch of eggs, let them sit overnight, then dip them the next day! Then they were wrapped pretty...especially when they're $5 an egg. Orders came in, Mommy helped with deliveries and thats it! Funds were counted and don't you know they sold enough to pay for each camp! What a special gift GG taught them, it's now become a tradition. The community ask this year if eggs would be ready! This is another reason we LOVE Multi-Generational living!!!!

Christmas 2023 in Our New Home
Traditional Sister Sleepover on Christmas Eve
Our 1st Christmas in our New Home
PaPa & GG now in our
lower level suite.
One of my dearest friends!
She loves this guy!!!!
And he LOVES her....Samson has one of the sweetest dog spirits we have ever known! He's truly a special part of our family!
Tenth & Eighth Grade Dance....a third wheel joined in this time!
The third wheel here....not sure we are ready for this but she chose a nice and respectful
young man!
Pray and celebrate each milestone....that's been my philosophy!
Lord, she has always been yours! You created her and mended her for such a time as this, please go before her, behind her and around her. May your hand be upon her, bring her peace and keep her safe as she spreads those wings! I trust you with her always!
In Jesus Mighty Name!!

The Sweetest of Blessings
At the end of 2021 I began praying and petitioning the Lord for a new Brokerage.
I was ready for a new culture. I included the girls in every decision and many times
of prayer. They knew I loved my place, I had been there for 14 years and love my crew. But the prompting
from the Lord was obvious. I wanted them to walk with me through the hard parts.
When it was time to share with my Broker the news in January of 2022, the girls knew I was
scared, nervous and full of emotion. Although I knew it was the right decision.
After talking to my Broker, I cam home to nap, the girls told me to rest and they had
dinner all planned. They planned and gave Rick and I a surprise date.
Talk about the sweetest of blessings, they're THE BEST.
So thoughtful, selfless and GREAT in the kitchen.
IDK Why, BUT She Loves Dissecting....
Whether it be catfish and holding the eyes, getting the field dressings and learning of a deer
heart, dissecting snakes, frogs and all she loves it.
Last year she ask her daddy to go back and get the hear and liver of a deer he field dressed.
They studied it, grilled it and ate it at the end of the day!
2022 Aviation Day, Hope's Level Up Award to Patriot in AHG
Hope had to plan a troop wide program to earn her Level Up Award to Patriot in
American Heritage Girls.
She chose an Aviation Day and invited two pilots to speak, including a woman, to share
their love of flying. Another shared about the Young Eagles flying program. Then we visited
the Museum at Shannon Airport where she hosted the event. They also have a
cafe on site where all ate together. Lastly, the got to learn of the airplanes, sit in the plane and ask questions.
I'm so proud of her and her Program Planning skills, her attention to detail and all the fun that
she orchestrated for her troop.
