Happy Birthday to Our Wish Come True

While in our favorite cuddle spot I"ve shared with HVN many times that..."I Wished For You" just like Barley Bear's momma wished for him. I wished for you for many years, through calls and mounds of paper work, I wished for you with my morning coffee and prayers throughout each day.
Then one glorious day we received a call that lead us on a path of petitioning God for direction and wisdom throughout an adoption process.
We wished for years that God would give us a child to fill the empty place in our hearts as we wanted to fill it with love for a special child and thats what He gave to us.
Yes,HVN has a birth mother that grew her in her belly and we are grateful to God everyday for her. Her birth mother loved her enough to make a wish for HVN to have a family who would love her with a total and adoring love...like we do for HVN. Even more special is that "of all the children in the world" God picked HVN for us and us for HVN and to Him we are grateful.
Sometimes we thought our wishes would never come true but we held on tightly to that wish like a string on a balloon. More importantly we prayed and prayed with an expectant heart. And because of that God gave us a more beautiful daughter than we ever dreamed about. Two years ago when we first held her we fell deeply in love and knew she was our wish come true! Happy Birthday to HVN and thank you Jesus that we can celebrate this day and that there are not enough candles to fullfill a wish better than what you have already given.
