Forever Family Day Celebrations

GWL is a favorite place for us in the Winter time!

The girls are like FISH and love to swim.

We make our annual Forever Family Day celebration here and its so fun.

We are truly grateful that God chose to make us a family.

Molding children is not easy, yet it worth the love and investment into their lives.

Emmi will soon be Baptized and we're so proud of how she and Hope live

out their faith in Christ.

Christmas 2017

Our girls had a beautiful Christmas! 

We spent time with friends in NC staying in a real treehouse and going on the Polar Express. It as magical, even for us adults.

We are blessed to be together and enjoy laughs, time and fun with many we love.

This Christmas was different without their Gpa/my Dad. We are learning to live life without him and its not easy, we MISS HIM!!!!!

I hope you see how happy and sweet our girls are, they love life and are doing so good in school. It takes work but both are committed to doing well.

Hope Victoria continues to enjoy piano lessons and learning music. She plays beautifully.

Emmi loves sports, its hard to keep her down as she is a GREAT athlete!

We hope our Birth Families had a beautiful Christmas! We love you all!

Pray for their hearts, Gpa is with Jesus

Our girls have loved my daddy! He is known to them as G-pa. Hope named him that when she was just a year and a half and began talking.

Dad loved the Lord and we are at peace knowing we will spend eternity with him and others we love.

Dad had a gentle spirit with the kids, he was loving, kind and loved by many people.

Please pray for the girls as this is the first loved one they've  lost in their little lives. Their hearts hurt yet we turn our tears to smiles as we talk about the memories.

I'm so thankful that Dad fought cancer, since 2004 and God allowed him many good years to meet and spend time with our girls.

Only God is that GOOD!

Happy 8th Birthday to my High Spirited Child

She chose a family adventure to Virginia Safari and we all loved it!

We had a yummy breakfast, picked up PaPa and GG and went up 81-North!

We loved the Safari when she turned four, yet she couldn't recall it all.

So we went back and loved it!

 Her last night as a seven year old!

Its not everyday they are like this but it is most days!

4th & 2nd grade HERE WE COME!!!!

I will never get use to sending my girls back to school! I miss them when they're away!

Yep, Im that mom that loves having them home, yet school is best for them!

HVN started 4th grade. She's so tall, pretty and gentle.

Her heart for others is a blessing to watch. She's my compassionate child that loves to serve others. Her quiet spirit is still very cautious and she picks her close friends carefully.

Thankfully they are in a school where she has had the same teacher since Kindergarten, this fits her personality so well. She loves Mrs. D and Mrs. D loves her!! Its a great trust relationship!

That smile...I pray the joy of Jesus always shines through her!!

 We love to paint rocks, HVN is an artist at heart!

Emmi is the life of the party, the Clown fish, the spirited girl in every room. She loves people,sports and all things chocolate. She serves and gives and plays hard. She LOVES her friends, she's my impulsive child that keeps us on our toes. The Lord knew we all needed Emmi!!!
