Happy Birthday Dr. Suess...my girls love you!

The girls thought this was our best surprise of the day. After our Riverwalk, we went to Dr. Suess' Birhtday party at Barnes & Noble. Our sweet sitter, Tori, was all in character.

Family Day.....I can't Get Enough of Them!

Our new Riverwalk is almost complete. We had a family day yesterday, so after breakfast we headed to the River. It was a windy walk but fun none the less.

Love these sweet girls!! And they love family days too!!!

A Visit to LU!

Last week, Rick was invited to speak at Youth Emphasis week and we went along. I was privileged to join he and students for round table discussion on Youth Ministry.

The girls are sitting on the stone bench where I sat when Rick proposed to me.

We have such great memories of this special place!

Behind them here is Dr. Jerry Falwell's burial place and a never ending fire atop the cross. It amazes me that one man's dream has come to fruition to such a place as LU.

 

 

Sweet Snow Bunnies

Tonight, we made snow creme...they thought I was Mom of the Year!!!

Snow"MAM"

We thought this was our last snow...however, tonight we have another 2.5" thus far.

My girls want so bad to make another snow "MAM" yes....I allowed them to make her anitomically correct. They giggled and giggled and giggled.

 

Our snow days consist of making cookies with gloves, boots and snow Mams....

Tonight was no different, except we make Lemon Rosemary Shortbread cookies! Super Yum!!



Forever A Family

 

Special Day's like today are always worth celebrating. This day in 2009 we were given a prcious gift when the Judge said "This is Forever."

Today is HVN's Adoption Day, what a GIFT!

Today, enjoying a campfire cuddle. I reminded HVN several times today that this our Forever Family day. She has an incredibly sweet and tender heart....I pray that is Forever!!



Friend's Are One of God's Greatest Blessing's

 

H&I have been friends since we brought H home from Ohio, they're 3 months apart. E&I are also three months apart and enjoy being in Sunday School together. The third I is about 10 months and H is asking for a baby brother her size.

Will you pray with us as we petitition the Lord for a little brother in our home?

We've been praying and asking for a few months, I have two little girls that are believing God to do this...and we are as well. Their prayers and faith are very precious, I want this answered for Rick and I, however I also want for it to be a huge answer for them that will cause their hearts and faith to grow.
