A Day of Worship

Rick is on vacation this week and we are doing a "staycation" so he can hunt! We ventured out on Sunday to the Mountains and it was nothing short of a day of worship. We enjoyed the fall colors, drove through a creek, rode a gator on some land that was "to die for", played in the grass, ate dinner, listen to podcast and veggie tales, laughed and loved on one another all day! O, and took pictures of course!
I think our girl could live outdoors, shes in the right family by that! Her favorite part of the day was skipping rocks and being silly. I think she laughed all day long!!! Love days like this one...it was God sent, no doubt!

She thought her daddy was so AWESOME after carving these pumpkins...it was his first time carving one and HVNs first time enjoying it!!!!! Picture #1 is my new favorite!!

What a Princess!

I took HVN to walk a Down Syndrome Walk with me and my dear friend took these of her...I love the clarity of the pictures. She is so porcelin!

We Luv.....

Hayrides, kettle popcorn, boots, haybail slides, pig races, friends, pumpkins, wagon rides, funnel cake, cozy nights and campfires.

Fall is the most beautiful season in our State....days can be hot and nights very cool. But, God knows what we need and He sees fit for us to enjoy these days.

Our girl is growing fast and putting together words and sentences...however she still has those words she cant pronounce and it reminds me how fast time has gone from baby to toddler.

Her thought process is deep and she understands and shares so much with us that happened if we missed something.

She is doing great in Cubbies. She looks forward to Monday morning when we review her book and do the projects, she says her verses and loves her teachers.

I took this picture on our first hayride of the season....she sits like such a little lady...so sweet.

Our Camping Vacation

Our girl is a Camping Queen!!!! She loves the outdoors and all it has to offer. She loves to get dirty, collect acorns, swing, ride horses, hike, she loves smores made with recee cups, she loves puppies, the water, bike riding, she can shoot a bow and cast a fish line like no other!!! She's soooo much fun. Its hard to look at these pictures and realize how big she is. We're so proud of her and her mannerism. We can take her just about anywhere and she behaves well. God has been so good to answer our prayers as we petition him daily for her character qualities, we pray she chooses those qualities as she grows. Most of all we ask Him to draw her to Himself and use us to make following Christ attractive to her. Her heart is so tender and compassionate right now, we are thankful for that sweetness. We've recently been blessed with a vacation that was restful and dedicated to family time. We had a blast, just the three of us. When we ask HVN what she liked best, she said "having Mommy & Daddy all to Hope!" how sweet is that?
