Happy 9th Birthday to HVN

Happy 9th Birthday Princess!

God created a kind and loving soul when He made this girl. She loves her family and friends deeply.

She loves having everyone close and still like Mommy to rock her!

Friday she celebrated by having a Pool party with friends and today our family will join us for lunch and cake!

We are thinking of all those who love her, gave life to her and continue to pray for her!

She's special and her story makes her Special!!

This was my last time rocking my 8 year old, so last night!

At 8 she loves playing the Ukulele and piano!

At 7 she loves all things girly and tea parties!

At 6, we spent time at Busch Gardens !

At 5, all she wanted was Santa! So we found Summer Santa at Hershey Park!

At 4, she was so thrilled to have a sister and celebrate Strawberry Shortcake style!

At 3, everything was Princess! She loved Beauty and the Beast!

At 2, Barney or "Barbush" to her was life! I'll find the picture and post soon!

At 1, we celebrated at Youth Camp in Myrtle Beach!

At birth, our world stopped and we celebrated life and the Gift of HVN!

Unexplainable joy when we laid eyes on her!

We are deeply grateful to this day for her Birth family and the

decision they made to bless our family.

We love you "L" family and are thinking of you today!

Easter 2017

Ever since I can remember we've been going to Kenmore each Easter morning for pictures. This year the gate was closed so we used the entry way.

These pictures bring tears as I see how much older by the month my girls are looking, they're beautiful in their own ways! Its heart deep as I see compassion, servanthood and love for people shining.

This girl...she's fast, fun and full of skill! She is defiantly our athlete that allows us to smell the dirt! She loves to run and her natural heart be is COMPETITIVE!

We love watching her shine on the field.

It's Going to be a Very Merry Christmas

On November 27, 2016 our girl invited me to talk about the Lord.

Over the last few years

we've seen the Lord drawing her heart. We see evidence of spiritual fruit in her life when she forgives and extends immeasurable grace to others. We see her learning His word and having a desire to pray. We hear her thankful heart when she bows her head to pray and her spirit light up with joy when she is given the unexpected. She loves to sing and praise His name in song and by serving others.

She's kind and desires to please her parents and the Lord.

So, on 11/27/2016 it was no surprise to me that she was ready. In the quietness of her room, just she and I, we talked, cried and prayed. She admitted that she is a sinner and needed Jesus' forgiveness. I listen to this sweet one accept God's free gift of eternal life. No longer separated from God, but forgiven and made new again. She's heaven bound but not before she accomplishes God's great design for her life.

This cautious and shy child has declared for years that she would not be Baptized where all would clap for her and make noise.

However, last weekend when the invitation was given she went forward for Baptism.

Tonight, I began a discipleship time with her, each night this week we'll discuss the why and how's of Baptism.

She wants to give Jesus a gift on His Birthday, that gift will be her public profession of her faith through Baptism on Christmas Day.

I've reminded her that this is just the beginning of learning to walk with Jesus and live by His example. She knows its not easy, but its totally worth living our lives in obedience to our Savior.

Be encouraged, forgiveness is available to all who call on the name of Jesus.

Acts 16:31 says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!"
