Friend's Are One of God's Greatest Blessing's

 

H&I have been friends since we brought H home from Ohio, they're 3 months apart. E&I are also three months apart and enjoy being in Sunday School together. The third I is about 10 months and H is asking for a baby brother her size.

Will you pray with us as we petitition the Lord for a little brother in our home?

We've been praying and asking for a few months, I have two little girls that are believing God to do this...and we are as well. Their prayers and faith are very precious, I want this answered for Rick and I, however I also want for it to be a huge answer for them that will cause their hearts and faith to grow.

Happy Valentine's Day

Every Day is Valentine's when you wake to the sweetness we have! And it's not candy! It's two girls that love life, one another and their Mommy, Daddy & Grandparents (near and far)!

The girls are saving their money so when we go to Disney next year they can have tea with the Princess'. So when they received Valentine's in the mail....they both screamed $$  for Disney!

They seemed to celebrate all week starting on Tuesday with a date with Daddy, Hunter and Addison. Then on Wednesday they celebrated at Cubbies followed by the actual day.  I think we have more candy in our house now then we did at Halloween.

They awoke to heart shaped pancakes and strawberries, a gift from Mommy and Valentine's from friends from chruch. Then we attended HVN's school party in the morning and had PaPa & GG over for a family dinner.

On Friday, they had a fun sleepover with PaPa & GG so Mommy & Daddy could have a date!

One of my favorite verses I shared with the girls this week is 1 John 3:1, Jesus so desires to Lavish Love on us simply because He loves us and created us to be His children.

Our prayer's continue as we petition the Lord for H & E's salvation at an early age. H is asking many question's however understanding sin in her heart is a hard concept.

I know the Lord is drawing her and His timing is perfect!

This day I became "Mommy of the Year" when I called for out side play instead of naptime. We had literally been in for 5-7 days due to rain! Nothing better than childish laughs, running, sunshine and fresh air!(January 2013)

 

Snow Day

We love SNOW...we love SNOW!!! Followed by hot cocoa and cuddling!!!

Celebrating "Forever Family Days"



Forever Family Days....the day God placed these two sweet blessings in our care for good. It's worth celebrating. HVN told me this weekend was much more fun now that she has a sister. How sweet is that? We're thankful for girls that love one another and are learning to love Jesus.

I explained to them that God has a Forever Family Day too....great conversation with lots of questions but they aren't quite there yet.
